Choir Launch

Breaksea is pleased to announce the launch of a new choir based in Kununurra. Bringing together some of the members of the former Kununurra community choir with anyone from the community who would like to join, the East Kimberley Community Choir will start rehearsing on Thursday the 10th of February 2022.

Lost Selves


A magical multi-arts experience where true stories meet mystery with projected visual art, dance, choral singing and live music. Featuring internationally acclaimed performers, Mt Barker College Choir, Let’s Shine and young talent supported by Breaksea’s Youth Mentorship Program.



Seachange is a major creative activation taking place in Albany between May and August 2022. Breaksea presents this exciting community participation program of multi-disciplinary workshops exploring the theme of “seachange”. With over 100 workshops on offer, the community is invited to join local and visiting artists-in-residence for puppetry, lantern making, visual art, dance, music, and singing activities.

Fairy Queen

In an exciting collaboration with the University of Western Australia’s Conservatorium of Music, Breaksea presents a new, fully staged production of Fairy Queen - a stunning reinvention of William Shakespeare's play A Midsummer Night's Dream and Henry Purcell's baroque opera Fairy Queen directed by Matt Ward.
