To launch Albany’s bicentenary year, Breaksea produced a series of short films and a spectacular mainstage family concert - bringing together community choirs, local musicians, and youth performers in a joyous celebration of Kinjarling.

Caretaker of Lost Selves explores the deeply human idea that throughout life, we forget vital aspects of ourselves - from the creative spark to the simple ability to laugh. Reconnecting with these elements of the lost self can be a crucial part of rebuilding our sense of place and belonging in the world.

The Magical Weedy Seadragon is an original, multi-award-winning Australian music theatre work born from extensive community-engaged playwriting. Over a multi-year development period, Breaksea’s professional artists collaborated directly with regionally isolated children across the Great Southern region.
